Synopsis:
The fictional paradise of Shangri-La is a mythical Himalayan utopia - a permanently happy land, isolated from the outside world. Fiction becomes fact in the Shangri-la of Yunnan Province where the sun is welcomed by red-robed monks spinning the giant golden prayer wheel. The day is spent the rolling green countryside, an untainted natural paradise which retains a mysterious and bewitching quality. And as the sun sets the locals gather in the village square to dance and sing, celebrating their own personal utopia.
