Synopsis:
Mako sharks can't be studied in captivity because of their power and speed, and were considered too dangerous to approach at sea. But marine biologist Craig Thorburn and filmmaker Mike Bhana went face to face with these ocean predators in the subtropical waters off northern New Zealand.
