NHNZ's new Post Production Manager has 16 years' experience as a post and field supervisor. Having worked mainly out of Los Angeles, Tom brings to NHNZ a wealth of experience across all production genres. His recent post production credits include My Ride Rules for the SPEED Channel, Double Life, a CBS drama pilot and Deadliest Warrior for Spike.
As the online editor Stuart gets to work on all the shows made by NHNZ. He works equally well on Quantel eQ, Avid and Final Cut Pro platforms. It's a skill set that sees him put the icing on the cake in the finishing process. Stuart joined NHNZ from Eyeworks New Zealand where he spent 3 years after emigrating from London, where he worked for Pearsons, TVTS, Quantel and Avid.
Ulf has been with NHNZ for over a decade. He joined the company after 23 years in the printing industry in Europe and New Zealand. Growing up alongside a photographer father Ulf has always been fond of stunning pictures and during his early career specialised in high-end colour separation work and colour correction of film and digital images. At NHNZ Ulf has worked both in colour grading and as a dubbing editor in videotape. He is familiar with rapid changes in HD and 3D post-production paths.
Doug has a degree in Film and History from Otago University as well as a diploma in Post Production from South Seas Film and Television School. Before joining NHNZ in 2010, Doug worked for Sky Television in Auckland. As an assistant editor, Doug is responsible for the smooth running of over 10 editing suites (both Avid and FCP) and the needs of editors on a daily basis.
Sound engineer Stacey Hertnon has been with NHNZ for over 11 years. She started her career at the New Zealand Broadcasting School followed by work with various production companies and channels around NZ, including TVNZ and award-winning children’s series You and Me. In addition to sound design and mixing, Stacey has worked as field sound recordist on numerous NHNZ productions. Highlights include award-winning series Most Extreme, Lifeforce and award-winning Shark Nicole.
