NHNZ has been working in Asia for 20 years. We have an office in Beijing, a production house in Singapore, are a key foreign co-producer with NHK in Japan and have strategic contacts in Korea and India. Our multilingual, multi-cultural teams on the ground in Beijing and Singapore are well connected throughout Asia. So as well as being the largest foreign producer of documentary programming out of China, we have unequalled access to Asian stories.
And our productions show it. We have been the first to tell many iconic Eastern stories to the Western world via channels such as National Geographic and Discovery. With NHNZ's experience across all documentary genres, we continue to deliver stories others can't.
The first 3D documentary series on China ever made. Co-produced with CICC and 3Net post production took place at Peter Jackson’s studio Park Road Post in New Zealand. This stunning series launched the 3Net channel in the US in February 2011.

Turning Taiwan’s trash into a treasure. The Eco Ark pavilion is hailed as the future of green buildings; movable, breathable and made out of 1.5 million recycled plastic bottles. It weighs 50 percent less than a conventional building, yet it is strong enough to withstand the forces of nature, including fire.
