Production house NHNZ and LA-based agency Kaplan Stahler have joined forces to strengthen NHNZ's profile in the United States.
NHNZ EVP Development and Marketing Neil Harraway says the relationship is a strategic way for the New Zealand-based company to access US broadcasters that NHNZ traditionally hasn't worked with, in genres it is not so well known for.
“Kaplan Stahler has strong relationships with a huge range of broadcasters, and they know our primary broadcasters well too. We will work with them on a number of fronts and envisage them giving our pitches a US-centric reality check, which will be invaluable.
“Kaplan Stahler will also be helping us on a number of NHNZ series about to get underway in the US with choices of show runners and producers from the great selection of talent on their books.”
Kaplan Stahler agent Lisa Pollack says they are thrilled to be working with the creative team at NHNZ.
“Craig Meade, Neil Harraway and Phil Fairclough all bring a level of innovation and creativity to our business that we haven't seen before. They are a high-end production company with ground-breaking ideas and a great creative team in place.”
