NHNZ has promoted Marketing Executive Shera Collins to VP of Marketing and Development, North America.
Shera first worked with NHNZ while she was an associate producer at Animal Planet, and in 2004 she spent a year directing The Most Extreme, NHNZ’s long-running Animal Planet co-production.
Following a short stint producing web content for Discovery Online, she re-joined NHNZ in 2006 and since then has been a key part of the creative development team responsible for Animal Planet’s upcoming series Redwood Kings, A&E’s long-running dramatic first person narrative series I Survived… and Beyond and Back, as well as Smithsonian’s stand-out L.A. Frock Stars.
“I get to meet the most interesting people on the planet because that’s the kind of people we pitch to the networks. I am excited to work on a growing number of projects and bring new content to new broadcasters,” says Shera.
NHNZ Managing Director Kyle Murdoch is thrilled Shera has agreed to step into her new role.
“With Shera’s background in both production and development, and her excellent relationships with all NHNZ’s key broadcasters like Animal Planet, A&E, National Geographic and Travel Channel, she is already on the ground and running.”
