Master of Science Communication (MSciComm) in Science and Natural History Filmmaking
In 2000, NHNZ established a one-year Postgraduate Diploma in Natural History Filmmaking and Communication with the University of Otago. In 2008, this highly regarded qualification was extended to a two-year Master of Science Communication (MSciComm) in Science and Natural History Filmmaking degree.
Throughout their studies, students benefit from spending time with NHNZ staff who pass on the secrets of communicating science effectively through documentary. NHNZ also offers six-month internships to outstanding students.
