Lauren is based at the NHNZ Office in Beijing where she provides a vital link between our production crews and their Chinese colleagues. With an extensive background in finance and television production, she also helps to manage our relations with Chinese broadcasters, local authorities, and film festival organisers.
Felix joined NHNZ's Beijing team in 2007. With strong experience in production management and location fixing, he has worked on 30 productions, including 3D, in China and Asia. Felix has a solid background in Chinese history and culture, science and engineering and is committed to documentary as the perfect bridge to introduce his country to the world. With Felix's connections and knowledge he is perfectly placed to contribute to NHNZ's program development and production. Felix also works closely on productions with NHNZ's sister company Beach House Pictures in Singapore.
Kyle has worked for NHNZ for over a decade, joining the company after completing an MA with distinction in archaeology. Over that time he's worked in every genre from the award-winning countdown series The Most Extreme, to science shows such as China Quake and adventure programs like X Force. Since 2007, Kyle has worked from NHNZ's Beijing office helping develop and produce key documentaries such as Secrets of the Kungfu Temple, Inside Ice Vegas and Ancient Man Made Marvels. He is focussed on building NHNZ's slate of Asian-inspired productions.
Han discovered her real interest in documentary filmmaking at the age of 20. After obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in English Language, she went to the UK and studied documentary filmmaking at the University of Bristol. From 2009 Han interned and worked for various independent documentary projects on environmental, engineering and social issues. She then worked for three months at BBC Science in London for the engineering series Generation Earth. In February 2011, Han returned to China and joined NHNZ in Beijing as a researcher.
