3D Production

NHNZ is a world-leader in 3D documentary production. We made history early this year with our first 3D documentary China Revealed: The Great Wall of China debuting on one of the world's first full-time 3D networks - 3net. And by June 2011, we will have delivered a total of 20 hours of 3D programming.

China Revealed is a co-production between NHNZ and the China Intercontinental Communications Centre, with Park Road Post (a world leader in 3D post-production, currently involved in the 3D planning for The Hobbit) assisting with the post-production of the series. This ground-breaking ten-part series explores China's thronging cities, epic vistas and spiritual heartlands, some of which the Western world has never seen.

NHNZ is also producing a five-part series on America's National Parks and a five-part series titled Jewels of the World on iconic heritage sites around the world. These two series are co-produced with Singapore's Beach House Pictures (in which NHNZ has a major share) and the Media Development Authority in Singapore.

Utilising the lead we have in 3D technological knowhow, we are developing a range of 3D shows for many of the world's 3D broadcasters.
